Top of the World—A Carpenters Tribute, fronted by singer Debbie Taylor, will be performed at 6 p.m., September 9, 2023, at the Thrasher-Horne Center. Her Karen Carpenter vocal resemblance is astonishing, backed by a seven-piece, multi-instrumentalist band of professional industry musicians that have had amazing careers of their own.

In reproducing the complex arrangements created by Richard Carpenter, the attention to detail, paired with saxophone, trumpet, flute and many more instruments, completes every song to perfection. There is also a multimedia slideshow to accompany the music.
